• Hold the masher end with one hand, squeeze on both sides above the hinge while rotating until the handle is vertical and clicks into place. (See illustration.)
• Mash food in bowl using an up and down motion.
• To store, hold the clean masher with one hand, squeeze on both sides above the hinge while rotating until the handle is horizontal and clicks into place.
