Description

12.5” enameled metal ballast-dump car, made late 1920’s to early 1930’s, is original/complete, is version with brass end-supports and single hand-wheel. The original diecast sector gear is fatigued/swollen and prevents operation, so a new gear is required if you want to operate bin. The existing gear will break if it is forced. Finish has light dirt, some wear, mostly edges, few corrosion spots, corrosion on brackets/couplers/wheels, brass has tarnish. Car should improve some with cleaning, as is, as shown.
